Meet Fawn, the heart of SmartyPup!

Fawn is a third-generation San Franciscan who brings a profound love for the human-dog bond and over 25 years of specialized experience in training puppies and supporting their development through the crucial first two years of their lives. As an instructor for Sirius® Puppy Training for 15 years and a decade-long educator at the SFSPCA Dog Trainers Academy, Fawn has developed innovative training methods that thoughtfully consider the dynamics between dogs and their owners. Her techniques, refined through advanced training like Bob Bailey's Chicken Camp and her CTC-H certification from the SFSPCA, focus on reward-based methods to strengthen the connections between dogs and their human companions. In October 2008, she launched SmartyPup! with the mission of sharing her expertise and empowering pup-parents.
